These special hose clamps have a smooth band with rolled edges ideal for use with silicone hoses. We do not recommend using regular hose clamps for silicone hoses as the band can cut into the hose when tightening and over time as the hose is moved.

Make sure the clamp and screw are stainless steel. The ones we sell are 100% stainless for all parts, but some hose clamps sold by others use zinc plated carbon steel screws that will tarnish/rust over time. Read descriptions carefully.
