A processed form of the wheat grain that adds body, head retention and fermentables to beer. Key to making Witbiers. Will leave a slight haze.
Flaked wheat does not need to be milled as it has already been rolled flat and toasted. Add it to the mash as is.
Approximately 1.0-2.0° L in colour.
