Melanoidin is much like Munich, but with more aroma. Lends mouthfeel and great aromatics to the beer. Has a nice almost biscuit flavour. Use to help replicate the maltiness and mouthfeel obtained traditionally through decoction mashes. Also improves flavour stability, fullness, and imparts a reddish colour to dark, amber, and red-coloured beers.
Approximately 23-34° L in colour.
