Used in:
White Labs Abbey Ale Yeast is used to produce Trappist style beers. Used in two of the six Trappist breweries remaining in the world, this yeast produces the distinctive fruitiness and plum characteristics. Similar to WLP500, but less fruity. Excellent yeast for high gravity beers, Belgian Strong ales, Dubbels and Tripels. Possible Source: Westmalle Brewery

Flocculation: Medium-High
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 66-72°F (19-22°C)
Alcohol Tolerance: High (10-15%)
