JSL-74A timer

TIMERJSL74A

Compact multifunction timer with multiple operating modes, perfect for brewing. Remembers time between power cycles (handy if you live in an area with frequent power interruptions or happen to turn the control panel off momentarily during use).

Identical features to the discontinued Eagle B506-5001/Omega PTC-21 timer. This is a newer timer that matches our recommended PID controllers in appearance.

  • Modes: Single delay, double delay, cycle delay
  • Trigger: Power on, front key pad, or remote switch
  • High brightness, easy to read large LED display
  • Accuracy: < 1 second/day
  • Power supply: 90-260VAC
  • Power consumption: < 2 W
  • Relay output: 7A @ 240VAC, 10A @ 120VAC and 24VDC (resistive load)
  • Relay life: 100,000 cycles
  • Operating temperature: 32-140°F (0-60°C)
  • Humidity: 0-95% RH
  • IP54 rated
  • Includes gasket, collar, and optional capacitor*
  • Dimensions: 1.89 x 1.89 x 3.35" (48 x 48 x 85 mm)
  • Mounting cutout: 1.77 x 1.77" (45 x 45 mm), 1/16 DIN

Included in our Electric Brewery Control Panel kits.

*The timer includes a small optional capacitor that can be used to shield it from external EMI/inductive noise. While not an issue with our control panel designs and parts, users who choose to build something different may notice the timer rebooting when mechanical relays inside the panel turn on and off. Install the capacitor across the timer's relay outputs to resolve the issue. If wiring the timer per our design with an alarm light and buzzer, this would be the normally open (NO) terminals 7 and 8 (as shown in the last picture).
